Search Engine Optimization
Our search engine optimisation techiques vary from site to site, and can be a time consuming business. We already hold the number 1 position for many keyword phrases and have successfully maintained this, and are constantly striving to achieve an excellent ranking for our customers. By "excellent", we mean on the first page of the requested search term, aiming for rank 1-5 on all the major search engines, which provides a huge coverage with minimal expense. Simple search engine optimisation can usually be achived through adding the correct keywords and tags, although much more work is required to ensure a good ranking.
- Initial analysis of current site:
- Current website keywords and keyword phrases
- Current website code and design
- Quote initial estimate for optimization process
- In-depth code and keyword analysis:
- Examine current site positioning on the major search engines
- Examine requested keywords and current high-ranking sites
- Suggest additional keywords to increase site ranking and placement
- Examine current code in preparation for SEO streamlining
- The Optimization Process:
- Seperation of design and content if requested
- Code optimization and streamlining if requested
- Modification of content if required, and/or relevant keyword insertion
- Ensuring correct, relevant tags are in place
- Optional insertion of GITK statistics / tracking software
- Post-Optimization Procedures:
- Manual search engine submission
- Search engine keyword tracking and monitoring
- Manual tweaking to ensure correct placement if necessary
Following these procedures, we will continue to personally monitor your site for the next 3-4 months. The optimization may not take immediate effect, as it can take time for the results and keywords to propogate through the search engines' indexes, but a noticeable improvement to your site's traffic should be seen within the first eight weeks.
